Bradford Fish and Game Deer Pool

Who will get the biggest deer this year?
If you feel you have the best shot, enter the Pool!

Rules:

  1. The Deadline to enter is before the first day of muzzleloader season. The cost to enter is $20, which can be given to any Bradford Fish and Game Club member with a properly filled out Registration Form. With your entry you will also receive a ticket (a $5 value) for our annual gun raffle.
  2. Deer must be legally taken in NH with a legal form of firearm during the firearms season (sorry, no archery).
  3. Deer must be ‘field dressed’. This means no heart, liver, lung, intestines, etc.
  4. All deer in the pool will be weighed at the Bradford Fish and Game Club on a single uncertified scale. The scale will be zeroed before every weigh-in. You must contact one of the Deer Pool Committee members to witness the weight or IT WILL NOT COUNT.
    The contacts are:
James Sprenger at 938-5213, cell 748-0889
    Dan Benedict  at 938-5316
Pete Strickland at 938-5278, cell 568-9633.
  5. If no deer are taken, there will be a lucky drawing.
  6. The heaviest deer will win the cash pool, which is half the total pool entry fees. The other half of the fees will go to the Club, which will be used to fund events such as the Kid’s Fishing Tournaments.
  7. You must have the heaviest deer by 5 lbs or you tie. Example: you have one deer at 180 lbs and one deer at 185 lbs, the 185 lb deer wins. If the first deer weighed 181 lbs, then they would both tie and the pool would be split.
  8. Any deer pool rule or NH hunting law violations will result in disqualification with no refund. The Deer Pool Committee will settle any discrepancies.
  9. There will be a “Deer Pool Standings” sheet with all entrants posted at the BF&G Clubhouse front window. If you want to check your standing you can do so at anytime.
  10. The winner will be announced and paid at our monthly meeting in January, which is usually on the first Monday depending on the New Year’s holiday.

Good Luck!
